I ordered Birkenstock replacement soles and a tube of contact cement. Though a mailing label was created on October 17, the company’s first attempt to fulfill failed - the goods never arrived, and I doubt they were ever mailed because USPS never began tracking a package. After multiple attempts to follow up, the company eventually responded to my outreach and fulfilled the order, which is very slowly moving through the USPS system. The second effort to fulfill the order occurred on October 25; as of today, October 30, it still has not been delivered. I credit the company for its pricing, free shipping, and for the customer service rep with whom I spoke; I don’t like the company’s apparent difficulty with fulfilling simple orders. I also don’t like that when he first effort to fulfill was a failure, they didn’t send the second effort by some sort of express mail. It shouldn’t take a week for a package to move from Illinois to Maryland.
